Acting Workshop with
David Dean Bottrell

David Bottrell began his career in New York as an actor and playwright at such prominent theatres as the Second Stage, the Public Theatre, La MaMa, the Long Wharf, Studio Arena and the Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Event Schedule

Acting Workshop with David Dean Bottrell

11:00AM to 12:00PM

Prospective students attending the Info Session are invited to come early to take part in a free acting workshop taught by Academy Master Acting Instructor, David Dean Bottrell.

 

  • Experience training from one of The Academy's master instructors.
  • Learn to explore a relaxed, free, truthful use of self in imaginary circumstances.
  • Learn exercises for spontaneity, concentration and acting on your natural impulses.
  • Light refreshments will be provided.
  • Space is limited, please register early.
 

Academy Info Session

12:30PM to 2:00PM

The Info Session is open to all prospective students, parents and friends.


  • Get audition tips and program details.
  • Learn about scholarships and the financial aid process.
  • Gain an understanding of The Academy's mission and training philosophy.
  • Hear firsthand from faculty, staff and local past students.
  • See what The Academy has to offer you, and more!
