For over two decades, Susan Pilar has had the honor of being a core faculty member at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, teaching, directing and conducting international acting workshops.

The Academy Preview is open to all prospective students, parents and friends.

  • Hear firsthand experiences from faculty, alumni, and current students

Acting Workshop Details

Prospective students are invited to take part in a free acting workshop taught by Academy Master Acting Instructor, Susan Pilar.

 

  • Experience training from one of The Academy's master instructors
  • Learn to explore a relaxed, free, truthful use of self in imaginary circumstances
  • Learn exercises for spontaneity, concentration and acting on your natural impulses
  • Light refreshments will be provided
  • Space is limited, please register early
 


IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE
To comply with local regulations and health guidance, The Academy’s health policies require all guests attending events on campus to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide both a Valid Photo ID and Proof of Vaccination upon entrance. Acceptable proof includes an original, photo, or copy of a complete CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card; or official digital records issued by a government entity. In addition to the vaccination requirement, face masks which are properly secured over the nose and mouth are required indoors.
