The American Academy of Dramatic Arts is coming
to Las Vegas
Join us Saturday, October 28, 2017 for a free Professional Acting Workshop and Academy Info Night Event,
and experience what it's like to be a student at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Betty Karlen is proud to be a Master Instructor, and the current director of Los Angeles Company at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
She has studied under Herbert Berghoff and Lee Strasberg, and acted in and directed more than 200 stage and screen productions. Among her many credits are the CBS series Cagney & Lacey and NBC’s Fame.
One of Karlen’s most notable characteristics as a director is her ability to form a deep, genuine connection with her students. She gets to know who her students are–both as people and as actors–and uses this insight to challenge her students to deliver their most honest performances.
The Academy currently has audition spaces available. Click here for more about how to apply and schedule an audition appointment.
