Two-Week Program
in Los Angeles
Focused Intensives
For actors who want to study one or more specific areas of interest. Each two-week session focuses on a particular skill set. Students can sign up for multiple sessions during the summer.
Choose from the following intensives:
- Camera Acting for Film & Television
- Advanced Camera Acting for Film & Television
(You can take multiple two-week programs)
Session A: June 10 - June 21
Session B: July 15 - July 26
Session C: July 29 - August 9
Monday - Friday
24 hours per week for two weeks

Four-Week Program
in Los Angeles
From Script to Screen
For actors, writers, and directors who want to bring a creative vision to life. Explore all elements of the creative process as you learn to take your original ideas from script to screen.
Program includes training in the following:
- On-Camera Acting Technique
- Writing the Scene
- Improvisation
- Auditioning: Self-tape
As well as the following hands-on studio courses:
- Blocking and Rehearsal
- Script Refinement
- Filming the Scene

Monday - Friday
24 hours per week for two weeks
4-6 hours of class time per day

Five-Week Program
in Los Angeles
A Comprehensive Foundation
For actors who want the most comprehensive training and well-rounded acting experience.
All participants will take the same core classes. One elective is included, and more can be added for $250 each.

Planning on attending one of our on-campus Summer Programs but need a place to stay? Limited housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in The Academy House West, our beautifully remodeled apartment-style housing.

Age Requirements
Students must be at least 16 years of age to participate in the Summer Program. There is no upper age limit for Summer Program participants. Students will be sectioned by age whenever feasible.
Summer Program Refund Policy
Requests for refunds must be addressed to the Director of Summer Programs and received no later than 30 days prior to the start date of each Summer Program. Requests for refunds made less than 30 days prior to the program start date will not be granted.

Application Fee: $20
(non-refundable)
Enrollment is limited and space is reserved only upon full tuition payment.
The Summer Program application fee is waived if application is received by December 31, 2023. Code applied automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
On-Campus Program
Scholarships and financial aid are reserved for those attending our full-time program. At the time you are accepted into our Summer Program, you will receive a tuition payment deadline. However, if necessary, we would be happy to work with you to the best of our ability to extend this deadline pending space in the program.
While we are unable to provide scholarships or financial aid for summer students, we do have several special offers you may be eligible for.
We are unable to provide payment plans for our Summer Program.
Students must be at least 16 years of age to participate in the Summer Program. There is no upper age limit for Summer Program participants. Students will be sectioned by age whenever feasible.
You can expect to be in class between 4 to 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Work will be expected outside of the classroom (research, character development, memorization, etc.), however, it is up to each student to self-manage their time and what is expected of them.
Yes. You are able to take any combination of Two-Week Intensives and the Five-Week Program. You are limited, however, to only taking one intensive per two-week session.
You will receive a formal letter confirming your completion via email at the end of the program.
No, an audition is not required. Instead, a decision will be made based off your completed application. Please be sure to include as much detail and information as possible so the committee can make the most informed decision.
